Coverage description
An Insurance Services Office (ISO) standard form. It pays the insured's share of an assessment that a corporation or association of property owners charges for direct loss to property all members own collectively, when an insured peril other than earthquake caused the loss, up to the scheduled limit.

What assessments are paid. The assessment must be charged during the policy period. The scheduled limit applies to the unit listed in the schedule.

Which losses can trigger the assessment. The association's loss must be direct loss to commonly owned property, of a kind the policy would cover if the insured owned it, caused by a peril the policy insures.

What is left out. Assessments for earthquake losses, including land shock waves or tremors around a volcanic eruption, are not covered by this endorsement. ISO files loss assessment for earthquake separately as DP 04 68.
