Exemption

Rate and form filing is waived only when the policyholder employs the required risk-management expertise and meets at least two statutory size tests. The disclosure must be made at solicitation.

Applies to: Qualifying exempt commercial policyholder

Conditions and exceptions: Tests include $50,000 premium $10 million net worth or revenue 100 employees specified nonprofit or public budgets or a municipality of at least 20,000. Workers compensation and title are excluded.

Form

Method

A covered form must be filed and approved before use. It is filed at least 30 days before delivery; silence deems approval and the director may extend review once for up to 30 additional days.

Conditions and exceptions: The qualifying exempt-commercial-policyholder path is separate and narrow.
