Exemption

No ordinary form filing is required for enumerated classes including surety wet marine boiler and machinery environmental impairment kidnap/ransom political risk highly protected property and director-exempt large-commercial policyholders.

Applies to: Classes listed in ORS 742.004

Conditions and exceptions: The exemption applies whether coverage is standalone an endorsement or part of another policy but is subject to the statute's consumer-line and product carve-backs.

Method

A covered form may not be delivered or issued until approved. The director must act within 30 days and may extend review once for another 30 days.
