Form
A qualifying large commercial P&C form is exempt from ordinary form filing under WAC 284-20B-170.
Applies to: Qualifying large commercial policy
Conditions and exceptions: Professional liability service reimbursement and master policies are excluded and the qualifying criteria must be met.
Form
A commercial P&C form may be issued before filing but must be filed within 30 days after it is issued. The commissioner reviews it within the statutory period.
Applies to: Ordinary commercial P&C form
Conditions and exceptions: Medical malpractice and portable-electronics forms are outside this commercial branch; large commercial P&C may qualify for exemption.

An ordinary noncommercial P&C form requires approval with a 30-day deemer and a possible 15-day extension.

Conditions and exceptions: P&C filers may not use the alternative certification route.

Commercial P&C rate material may be used before filing and must be filed within 30 days after use.
