Specified form and rate filing and approval chapters do not apply when the policyholder elects treatment and satisfies the premium size risk-manager and certification criteria.

Applies to: Commercial P&C excluding statutory excluded lines

Conditions and exceptions: Excludes workers compensation medical malpractice life health and disability. Generally requires at least $50000 aggregate P&C premium plus a qualified risk manager and two statutory size criteria; special public nonprofit and municipal paths also apply.

Method

Covered forms must be filed electronically at least 30 days before delivery and are deemed approved if the superintendent does not act within 30 days; earlier approval waives the remainder.
