An Insurance Services Office (ISO) standard form. It adds additional living expense: the necessary increase in living costs when an insured peril makes the described location unfit for use, paid at no more than 25% of the limit per month. The basic form DP 00 01 does not include this coverage.

What is paid. Only the increase over normal costs is paid, while a loss to the dwelling, other structures or personal property by an insured peril makes the described location unfit for its normal use.

How fast the limit can be used. No more than a quarter of the limit is paid in any month, for the shortest time needed to repair or replace the location or for the household to settle elsewhere.

When a neighboring loss bars access. If a civil authority prohibits use of the location because of damage next door by an insured peril, the expense is covered for up to two weeks.
