Overview
AAIS's commercial inland marine program covers business property that moves or sits outside a fixed building, and some legal liability for others' property. Builders' risk forms cover buildings under construction: IM 7050 and IM 7051 at scheduled jobsites, IM 7052 on a reporting basis and IM 7053 with an installation floater, while IM 7100 covers materials being installed. Contractors' equipment forms cover machinery and tools on a scheduled (IM 7000, IM 7001), blanket (IM 7002) or small tools (IM 7003) basis. IM 7451 and its reporting version IM 7450 cover a trucker's legal liability for customers' cargo, and IM 7650 a warehouse operator's liability for stored goods. Other forms cover property in transit (IM 7250), fine arts (IM 7400), scheduled property (IM 7500) and customers' property at a processor (IM 7501).
