Coverage description
An American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) standard form. It pays builders' risk losses to a named mortgagee and you as interests appear, keeps the mortgagee's coverage in effect despite your breach, and requires notice to the mortgagee before cancellation or nonrenewal.
How the form has changed
The 09 08 edition adds headings and wording for use with the Rehabilitation And Renovation Form. The mortgagee provisions are otherwise the same as 12 01.
