Coverage description
An American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) standard form. It adds coverage for spoilage of perishable stock when the refrigeration or heating unit of a vehicle carrying it breaks down suddenly, subject to monthly unit inspections, inspection records and separate per-vehicle, catastrophe and deductible amounts.
How the form has changed
The 01 12 edition names the Owner's Cargo Coverage, refers to owned vehicles and moves the limits and deductible into the endorsement text. The coverage is the same as 04 04.
